All Too Soon - One To Watch

Last seen winning an 1800 metre maiden at Randwick on Melbourne Cup Day with authority, All Too Soon was having her first run back from a summer break and charged home from back in the field to score a determined short half head win in the 1400 metre Class 1 event.

Retained to race by her breeder John Cordina after passing in at Inglis Easter, All Too Soon is a half-sister to stakes-winner Rock Hero and is from Mr Cordina’s former high class Group II winning Galileo (IRE) mare Gallant Tess.

Also trained by David Payne, Gallant Tess won over $800,000 in prizemoney and was Group I placed on five occasions.

Set for an Oaks campaign, All Too Soon will step up in distance and her campaign progress and based on the authority of her 1800m victory, an Oaks journey should not pose an issue.
