Payne Holds All The Aces Ahead Of Magic Millions

As we head towards the end of 2017, the David Payne stable is still celebrating the enormous season for our three-year-old High Chaparral colt Ace High whose season ended with three consecutive stakes victors – wining the Group 3 Gloaming Stakes, his first win at black type level, followed by the Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes at Randwick and then the highlight was a dominate performance in the time-honoured Group 1 VRC Derby, winning by two lengths.

Purchased from the Magic Millions yearling sale, Ace High joins fellow sale pin up horse such as Winx and Redzel who both had outstanding campaigns, and the 2018 edition of the sale, which commences on January 10 at the Gold Coast looks to once again be a catalogue full of outstanding opportunities.
