Plenty Of Love For Our American Pharoah Colt

With the Inglis Classic yearling sale being the strongest on record, David Payne Racing were fortunate enough to secure three yearlings for clients and Lot 437, the American Pharoah x A Little More Love colt still has some opportunities left in him to race with the G1-winnning stable.

The deeds of American Pharoah are well publicised both as a racehorse where he was the first winner of the US Triple Crown in 37 years, culminating in a career that saw victories in eight G1 races.

As a sire his first northern hemisphere crops have been outstanding, highlighted by 25 stakes performers including G1 winners Harvey’s Lil Goil and Van Gogh.

His first Australian foaled crop at just 2 and are in all the best stable’s in the country and will get every chance to highlight the quality of their sire.

Purchased from the draft of Davali Thoroughbreds, the Turangga Farm bred colt is out of the unraced More Than Ready mare A Little More Clove, a half-sister to the G2 Tulloch Stakes winner Fast Clip.

From the family of G1 winner Sky Cuddle and her ultra-tough, G2-winning, G1 placed daughter Champagne Cuddles, our colt is bred on a cross that has had only three runners to date, highlighted by the G2 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint winner Four heel Drive and the G3 Chukyo Sirius Stakes winner Café Pharoah – both colts.
